A year of change, leaps and a pinch of luck
It's been a little over a year now since we packed up our home and moved from Eugene/Springfield to the San Francisco bay area in California. It was a difficult decision to make, and excessively physically challenging, leaving our lifelong friends and family to move to an unknown place with an unknown future.
How thankful we are to have landed on our feet, post-relocation! We now live in Sunnyvale, in a very lovely gated community, from our window we can see a 'lake' and, ironically, dozens of ducks. Can you believe Tim's company is literally just down the block from mine? It's sick, we walk to work holding hands...
We're enjoying every minute of our experience in the South Bay, both professionally, and as amature tour guides. Let us know if you're planning on being in the bay area, we'd love to show you some of the new places we've found!
We have so much to be thankful for this holiday season, but most importantly, we are thankful for the health and happiness of our friends and family this year. Take care, be safe, eat well, laugh!
